FORUM Boss: There are now 20 or more total SCAM websites claiming to sell ammo, reloading, components and, in some cases, firearms.
Here is your quick solution -- If the site does NOT take regular MC, Visa, Amex, Discover RUN AWAY!!!!!
Any site that can only take Zelle, Venmo, BITcoin etc. is 99.99% likely to be a scam.
We have said over and over and over again, only deal with established, reputable dealers.
Honestly, I do not understand why people are still getting scammed. This has been explained over and over.
And remember this... you really think Hodgdon is going to send Varget and H4350 to some place you've never heard of, rather that deliver said powder to Powder Valley, Midsouth etc. that have done millions of dollars of business with Hodgdon over decades. Come on?! Be Smart! Use your brain!!
I just got scammed by a company called House of Firearms.
They are not legitimate.
There web page looks good with decent prices but ask to be paid with Zella, no credit cards.
When you pay for the items with shipping, they then send you an e-mail asking for the same price as payed for the items for the has-mat and insurance. They say that this extra fee is refundable when the items are received but they will probably never ship.
I asked to cancel the order when I got the extremity high price for the has-mat and was told they will not refund my money.
Please beware of them.
