It’s a nice area and less than 10mins away from Ben Avery. There are also a lot of restaurants in the area and a Walmart.

Happy Valley/Deer Valley area is fine to stay at. Very close to the range.

There is a hotel that gives a discount if you are a competitor at Ben Avery. Right by the 101. Can't remember the name. If I think of it, I will let you know.

In my opinion the best deals can be found on VRBO.com

Thats a site that offers homes for vacation rentals. I have used it many times on business and pleasure trips. There’s a bunch of them in the Phoenix area. The pros are a full kitchen, washer/dryer, better parking etc etc. No cons in my book. Check the reviews but most of them are managed well. They are usually 2-3 night minimum, weekly rates are available too. The closer to the Ben Avery the better, it’s a newer part of town. I would try and stay north of the 101 and you should be fine. Is that the one on W 27 I stayed there last year and again this year a lot of working people stay there. Do bring some quarters for the washing machine's

Too bad I don’t know anyone wanting to split the cost of the home rental. Very nice one for $250 per night. Not bad.
