Have had success with Turtle Wax as well. Not a spray but have had good luck with Kiwi Shoe Polish.
I use MR-312 zinc stearate spray which I thought I got from Brownells, but they don't list anything like it now.

I have used the kiwi polish for a few years and it does work good but dries out pretty quick in the can.
Looks like Walmart has the CRC and it's pretty cheap, I may give it a try.
Does The Johnson's paste wax dry out in the can?
I'm working on a can that I know is at least 48 years old. My Mother used it on hardwood floors in her old house. She moved in 1970I have used the kiwi polish for a few years and it does work good but dries out pretty quick in the can.

Does The Johnson's paste wax dry out in the can?
Ive had a can for over 20yrs and its still perfect. Ive tried about everything but one shot and its hard to beat the johnsons. Glad to see the one shot does indeed have at least one use. I know the brownells spray release agent is about the same thing and works very well
Big johnsons wax does not dry out. Ive never even hammered the lid down just sat it on top
Just wondering if anyone has ever tried the Hornady one shot case lube as a release agent for bedding a rifle. or if there is a good spray on release agent.
Take the lid off the tin and place the tin in a pan of hot water on your stove. Once it has softened, let it cool and you'll have a fresh tin of polish/wax.I have used the kiwi polish for a few years and it does work good but dries out pretty quick in the can.
