Hornady Microjust Seating Stem

Anyone use these?Opinions?Does it cure the varying OAL that a regular seating die produces?

NO "seating stem" can "eliminate" varing OAL due to the small variations in bullets themselves AND the slop in press ram linkages. The stems don't press on the bullet tip, they bear on the shoulders, so minute differences in the tips affect OAL but that has very little to do with ulitmate accracy, we only need consistancy in the point of contact between the bullet shoulder and the origin of the rifling.

Die micrometer adjustments simply make it easy to change the seating depth a known amount without having to use calipers.

I have one of these seaters, it works just fine. Compared to a Forster seater, the numbers are a little hard to read. Good luck.
