Hornady lock n load thread size?

Does anyone know what the thread size for the lock n load overall length gauge cases, they don't sell the ones I need, 6.5-06AI,and 280AI. Thought I had it written down somewhere, but can't find it now.

Ask Eric at Bostromgunsmithing.com.

He makes them up from fired cases and I know Hornady will also do it for you if you send them the cases.

Thanks Dave, that's what I needed, I was planning to use just a fire formed case and put in my lathe to carefully drill and tap the hole.

I don't have the correct index drill bit size but a 19/64 bit does the job pretty well.

When I needed one of these "specially prepared cases" and there were none available, I just drilled out the end of a fired case so it would slip over the threads on the end of the tool. Waxed up the threads with Kiwi Shoe polish, coated the inside of the case with J-B Weld and slipped/screwed it onto the tool. When cured I had threads. Total cost?? Used leftover J-B weld so there really wasn't any. Also didn't have to wait days until I could find a tap or wait for someone to make one for me.

Yep, the 5/16-36 tap is the bit issue. Find one of those if you can.
