I have decided to just throw them in the scrap bass bucket. There is no way they are worth the trouble. I phoned Hornady tect and he said they were crimped. Suggested crimp deburring or swaging and said they were designed to be used in fully automatic weapons.Yes they are crimped. I broke several decap pins on my RCBS dies before I got through with 50 cases. And just like you I tried the Lyman tool that cuts away the crimp and I don't think it remove one sliver of brass. So I got out the primer pocket swaging tool and If it is doing anything at all I can't feel it. I am just going to run all of them in the swaging tool and try seating primers. Good luck Ive been scratching my head on this one, maybe when the primers came out they pushed any crimp away at the same time????
