Hornady headspace guages

For the 6.5 creedmoor, which guage should I use ?

Either .375 or .400 will work. Just do not interchange them. Pick one and stay with it.

You want C, with the .375" datum.

The datum line of the cartridge is .400 according to the saami drawings... according to hornady use the. 375... hornadys senior ballistician invented the cartridge.... sooo... it doesnt matter use the same one everytine

I tried both, and settled on the .375 gage because it landed about midway down the shoulder. The .400 was much closer to the shoulder/body junction and I found it tended to vary in measurement at that location. Could have been because my load was not particularly hot and may not have fully fire formed tightly to the chamber.

Same here. I have a 375 coming.
