Hornady ELDs

Has anyone tried the new Hornady ELD bullets yet? How do they compare to the old A-max? Just load the same and go shoot or do you need to change the seating depth?

I loaded the same powder, but still adjusted the load and depth just like I was starting. I just used my info as a starting point. Still tweaking powder.

I have a box of the ELD-X match .208gr .308s that I need to try. Really not that into it as I don't have much of a use for that type of load at the moment. I'm 1/2 tempted to use them in some subsonic load, but they're a little pricey for that.

Don't be afraid to jump the ELD-M's a bit. I ended up at .09 off the lands in a 6.5 Creedmoor and am shooting the best groups I have seen yet in this rifle (.3 moa). On a side not has anyone seen the 140's in stock lately?

I definitely can't find the 6.5mm 143grn bullets anywhere. I'd love to try some in my 6.5x280AI. Hope to get it back from the smith in about 30 days.

Was with a friend today trying different factory ammo in a Howa 6.5 Creedmoor with Hornady 140s, 130s, 129s, and the 143 ELDs. The 143 ELDs, were the most inaccurate. YMMV in your rifle.
