I picked up a box of 100 for a 6.5x55 1000 yard Rifle.

I am looking for input on Jump or Jam ???

My Savage 6.5 Creedmoor seems to like a .020 jump with these. The Nosler 140gr RDF's like .010

Universally you're going to see .015 - .020 off.

I would start at .020 off.

The 147's I have tried like 0.015 off and will shoot in the high 2's.

Mostly I've seen them like .015 off but I tried them with about .020 jam in 6.5PRC and they shoot pretty dang good there.
EDIT: yes, bolt. lose is a wee bit stiff.

Well with a few rounds tested in my 6.5X55 with a 32" Barrel .

The best of the best 45.5 Gr. H4831SC CCI BR2 .015 jump SD 6.70
200 yard 5 shot group 3/4" . Nice round group

I did test to .035 jump Group just got bigger.

Has anyone tried a jump test like berger recommends? I tried some the other day at varying off land from .020 to .120 with reloader 17. Was very unhappy with the reloader 17 but my barrel shot best with a .090 jump. Will test it again now that i have h4350 again.

What I read was about some 147s blowing up. I have not had any issues with mine and have not shot the 140s, yet.

I have not had a 140 blow up in a 1:8 twist but test wer limited to 200 yard and 2960 fps.
