Hornady Case Prep Station

Approximately a year ago I bought the new Hornady Case Prep Station. Thought I am not impressed with it as a case trimmer it does chamfer cases pretty well. I have used it regularly and last week it quit dead. I called Hornady to inquire about testing it to determine if it was the switch or motor. The very nice tech said there was an inline fuse under the black cover. I checked it last night and sure enough the 1.25 amp fuse was blown. I replaced it and the unit went back to working well. I appreciated the techs working with me and solving the problem without having to return the unit. This is another case where a product was made with safety features and was servicable, not just replaceable. Thank you Hornady for making such a product and giving the necessary support.

Isnt it nice to deal with a company with real aftercare. I am dealing with redding on a type s die that was obviously made wrong. They are behind on repairs and the guy(chris) is expediting it for me by making one phone call.I am exstatic as I need the die asap.I only hope it comes back by next week.

I recently picked up a Frankfort Arsenal brass prep center and it is well worth the money.

I did change some of the tools out for better and sharper tools, added a primer pocket uniformer for crimped 5.56 brass.

Highly recommend...
