Hornady A-Max 75gr

Ok, I've done a fair amount of reloading and 600y MR F-class shooting. I want to see if others have experimented with 223 and the 75gr A-Max.

I haven't done much but pressure testing with Varget, and had some decent results. Loaded to 2.390"

I'm single loading for an AR with Wylde chamber and 20" barrel.

My questions are:
Powder choice (charge weights aren't needed) Velocity range would be helpful but include barrel length too.
Seating length, or better, Distance from lands.
Please include brass/primer.

it was a while back and do not have the data but i did well with 2520 and single loading the amax, used mag length for the 75gr match.

I have 2 friends that shoot the 75 amax in .223AI rifles,both are using the same reamer.

They are using H335 and i believe velocities to be in the 3000-3100 range.

Heres my load 22.5grs H-4895 wsr primer 75gr Amax or 75gr BTHP hornady at 2950fps but shoots bug holes in a 9twst savage 110fp .223

75gr A-Max over 24.5gr Varget was about 2930fps. RP brass, CCI-400, 0.010" jump (don't remember COAL)

Varget and the AMAX at about 2750 out of a 20" AR. Started at 15 thou off and shot that barrel until the bullets were almost 40 thou off. Shot great the entire way.

Mac, 24.5 - 24.8 Varget with the 75 AMAX REM 7 1/2 or FED 205M primers seated an average of .008" off works great in two Douglass 1:7" 20" AR's I tried, both have Compass Lake's short chamber. It may be too hot in your barrel so start at 24gn and work up.
The 75 AMAX's seem to like speed out of an AR service rifle match barrel.
