Hornady 6 ARC 108 ELD match

Does anyone know ,with reasonable certainty what powder Hornady is using for the factory round. I will be pulling a couple this weekend to verify powder weight. Thought some of you had already checked that part out.

Had to come out of some type of container with an ID label . The public will not get that powder in the same type of container.

Just curious what the general consensus is .

For sure it's now a non canister, if you watch Hornady videos you'll get the concept. LeverEvolution is as close as I know of that can be, bought.

The AR book loads using LeverEvolution in the 103 to 105 range seem to be able to match the book velocities and factory loads.

Powder most resembles Leverevolution, of all powders I have.

I just watched a video where a guy pulled 3 different lots of a different Hornady loading. All 3 had different powder.

I suspect they are a lot like us....they have a preference...but at the end of they gotta use what they can get.

I suspect they are a lot like us....they have a preference...but at the end of they gotta use what they can get.

Will not say what I found, will only comment, not impressed, but can say they do shoot decent for factory ammo.
