Has anyone compared the performance of these two bullets out of a .223 1:12 twist bolt gun? I am currently shooting SMK 52 gr bullets with good success but want to have a back up bullet that will shoot similarly. Any thoughts?
Fair enough, but I always like to go into the game with helpful insights! Thanks for your responses, guys! The only way you will know, how and what your rifle will do with them, is to try some loads and see.
I have personally tested this theory and found it to be true more times than the other way.As said above I agree a flat base 'should" be a bit more accurate out to 200yds, give or take.

True, but as Mick Jagger prophetically said " You can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes, you get what you need"Either one will probably do ok
But not as good as the ones that come in the green boxes that you are using ! LOL
Sorry, couldn’t help it
Best bullet in my old Ruger #1B .223 (1-12") and second best in my Ruger American Predator .223 (1-8"). Also the bullet of choice for my nephew and friend's .223s.These ?
