I bought a Contender 14 in 445 SM barrel 20 years ago. Received a Black Friday sale email from MGM last year. $100 off barrels in stock. Bought a 24 inch 445 SM Encore barrel for son to hunt deer with in Ohio

Loaded up some for the 445 SM and all I can say is wow! 5 shots at 100 yds with Encore rifle.
