Does anyone know what the Hornady Handbook recommends for the coal, on the 6.5 Creedmoor with the 263355 hpbt 140 grain bullet. Thank You.

Yes those are very good recommendations Zero 333, thank you. I use Sierra, Lyman, and Speer manuals. Figured it would be 2.800 or2.810, just wanted to see what Hornady says for their bullet. The book coal is just a recommendation.
There are different way (some free and some need to buy the tools) of checking how far out the bullet can be seated before it contacts the lands/rifling. search "finding lands" or "bullet seating depth" on here or on youtube. Most folk start load development around 0.020" away from the lands. Find the best powder charge and then play with seating depth to try and improve accuracy even farther.
If your "at lands" coal is too long to fit in the magazine and you want to feed from the magazine then just load them to magazine length.
a link to a video on a free way of finding your lands...
If you want to keep things simple, load the COAL to 2.800" and try chambering the round (with the safety on just in case) to see if it feeds and extracts smoothly. If it feels good then leave it at 2.800" and go shoot !
