Hornady 147 ELD - 6.5 CM Loads

Looking for some load recommendations using Hornady 147 ELD’s in my Seekins Havak Bravo 6.5 CM using H4350. I’ve used 130 ELD’s and Berger 130 OTM’s with good success however I want to try a heavier bullet.

Thanks

I had very good results with H100V with the 147's. Single digit SD's and ES. H4350 never got enough speed for my project at that time. 40.0 to 40.2grs worked the best in my project, but start lower in any new test.

I don't know what the rifle is you have, but my 24'' 1&8 bolt gun with RL16 41gns will push the 147gn ELDM's @2730fps with no pressure signs, my 2ct

Start around 39.5grns of H4350 and work up. You will find a good load. H4350 is a very good powder for the Creedmoor. Been using it since 2008 with weights from 120-153grns. Load 40.6grns now with the 153 ATip.

H-4831sc and don't look back!

H4831 is no secret. People have used it for years also along with H4350. If he has some it’s worth a try but sounds like he has H4350 already so no reason to go elsewhere.
