Hornady 147 and rl16

Need information for the 147 bullet and rl16 starting loads and max thanks

Google Reloader 16 loads, and find the case and bullet you are using. Some start and max loads are there for several 6.5 cal's.

Have you contacted Hornaday Customer Service? I'd give them a try first.

If you're using a 6.5 creedmoor, start at 40 grains and work up. My pet load is 41.8 grains but I'm using Hornady brass which might have a little more case capacity.

I think that Rodney is spot on. I did not try 16, with the 147, as I settled on Re 26 (back when you could get it). You can probably end up, up around 43 grains.
