Homatas Rem 700 Bolt Knob

A few pics of a 'Tactical',ugh...I hate word) bolt knob conversion performed on my 40x by John Homatas of Illinois. The knob is hard anodized, nice job too!) 7075 aluminum and is threaded 5/16x24. Turnaround was pretty fast, I mailed my bolt to him on a Thursday and got it back the following Thursday. It looks fantastic on my rifle and feels great in operation. I'm pretty sure John doesn't have a webpage, but he does hock his services and wares on ebay, John Homatas Ebay Page

Rifle is a 40x single shot in .243,soon to be 6BRX) in a McGee prone stock.

Steve it is definitely "different". I kinda like it! Is there any problem with it getting loose while you are working it??

It's a single shot, so it won't be worked too fast or furiously. John usually Loc-Tite's 'em before returning them, but I asked him not to. I haven't had a chance to shoot her since I got it back from John, but I don't think it's gonna be a problem.
