Holster advice needed

Gun is a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter Model 44mag 7.5 inch barrel
IRON SIGHTS.

I have a Hunter brand across the chest bandolier holster for this but I find it always wants to slide down and left to my of side and also pulls pretty good on my right shoulder. Makes me not use is much as it’s just plain uncomfortable after a few hours

I’m looking for something nicer strong side or cross draw belt ideas welcome as well.

Go ahead and let your ideas flow !!!

Nothing is going to be absolutely comfortable with a pistol that is pushing 4 pounds when loaded. However, the only holster I wear in the field with a heavy N frame S&W revolver is a strong side holster that sits high in your belt. I have both a Triple K lightening and a Bianchi 5BHL holster and like them both. I tend to use the triple K more often. There are also a number of custom holster makers out west that do beautiful work but it will be pricey!

Maybe look for an older Roy Baker holster and wear crossdraw, they are still around, fleabay has them from time to time.

Thanks for the input guys and keep em coming.
I already do wear suspenders as well when hunting as my round shape does not hold pants up well when paired with base layers.

Kenai makes nice chest holsters. I own a couple for guns I carry while hunting.

Simply Rugged make very nice holsters that you can use strong side, cross draw, or attach a chest harness too. Rob bmdoes really great work you will not be disapointed. These are the only holsters I use now, they call itba concealment holster but it just rides nice and tight to the body so the grip isnt smacking into everything.

I have a Ruger 1911 in .45 and I use a Blackhawk side holster. It comes with a belt attachment, and a paddle for inside concealment. It's comfortable both ways, it's cutdown on the hammer for fast draw. It's my cheap go to, but for me it works. I also have the shoulder holster, which I also like. My only problem is I haven't found a shoulder holster that....well fits a woman's anatomy. Find that I'll Cary all the time.

I have a Smith & Wesson 44 mag, 8 3/8” barrel. I wore it in a shoulder holster for years.

I ordered one of these setups Friday evening.
now comes the “Im” patient waiting fir the stork delivery.

It's not the holster that comes first it's the belt, or for a chest holster the rig. Given a good belt an average holster will work. Given an average belt a good holster will fail.
