Hogue stock vs wood laminate

Spike A

Gold $$ Contributor
just wondering if anyone has had any experience with hogue stocks with full aluminum bedding block? Or if better off just getting wood laminate and either way will probably be glass bedded.

Thanks

The full aluminum blocks are good. The pillar only cheaper version sucks. On laminates if you get the stockys with the full aluminum block its perfect after a little bedding.

I bought a Bobby Hart aluminum bedded laminate stock from Stocky's for my Rem 700 300 RUM. Definitely made it more solid and it fit great. Dusty, I was going to ask if anybody would recommend still bedding it.

It will need bedded no matter what you buy......
In a case like this with the bedding blocks, no one size fits all.....
