The ones off a 700 that look like they came from an adult book store, anyone had any luck selling on of these fine things or do you just send them straight to the landfill?

Reason I'm asking is that I'm looking at a 700 for a build that has one on it and any cash I could recoup from selling it would help my decision.

One word - EBAY. They buy the injected molded stocks all day long, Even those awful things from midway & some people think they are great. But then again, it was probably an upgrade from what could have been on it.

The black ones are $100 new and the other colors are $120.
You should get $50-70 shipped pretty easy if the condition is good.

Rig it with an accutrigger and put 6 pickaninny rails on it and sell it on snipers den.

Think if I write "Special Ops" down the side it would go for double?

They are uglier than sin. I have four of them, two pillar bedded versions and two with full bedding blocks which were used to replace the cheap worthless Remington factory plastic stocks.

I realized a noticable improvement in group size after installing these stocks so they do work despite their horrible appearance. The non slip grip also works for me especially shooting off shooting sticks since the rubber stock eliminates any torquring of the rifle in the sticks. I wouldn't recommend them for serious target shooting but for hunting they're fine.

I confess that I purchased them since they were much cheaper than the stocks I really wanted, McMillian, but they worked so I'm happy. After all, it aint's a beauty contest. :)

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like the way they look and feel. Granted it does not look that good sitting beside my Cooper but I take them places I would never take my wood stocked rifles and they make a decent boat ore if you get jammed up around the water. I shoot two of them out to 600yds off bipods, I don't see any accuracy issues. To each their own.

This is referring to the full overmolded stocks not the partial molded.

They are for sure not worth much at all and that being said i do have 1 that comes on the FNH tactical. It is a different beast all together. It has the aluminum bedding block that is milled out that the action sits in and a aluminum arm that runs the length of the forarm. It is a very user friendly stock and the forarm is very stiff also. I think it is a super field stock for hunting and pretty compact to me. I like the feel that it gives for gripping. If they offered a stock like this for the Remington varmint style rifles i would buy 1 in a heart beat. They are super in the winter with gloves and if you bang them on something it will not make noise and not dent and scratch up the precious wood you pay so much for. ;D
