Hoffman barrels

30 or so years ago, I built up a .22-250 on a 1903A3 Springfield action. The 26' barrel was made by Hoffman. It has a 1:12 twist and still shoots in at less than an inch even tho it's a bit more particular about the loads. Can anyone give me any info on the barrel and its maker?

Do a google search on harold hoffman from bucklin kansas. He has a book about his gunsmithing and barrel manufacturing. That's all I could find.
