Hodgdon's reduced load data

Has anyone used any of there data for plinking and/or small game hunting at 200 yards and less? If so, what caliber and how accurate? I'm looking at doing some reduced loads for a .308 I have. According to the ballistic calculations with a 1:10 twist at approximately 1700fps a 155gr bullet's stability factor is 2.24, is this a good number for my setup? Thanks for helping.

My son used the 308 reduced recoil load with a 125gr bullet for elk hunting. Took a 400lb cow elk at 90 yards....didn't move 1 ft from where it was hit. My experience has been that moderate recoil loads are more accurate than full powered loads. I use a reduced charge for my 308 for mid-range F-class (41.0gr H4895 w/ 155 bullet). This load does very well.
