According to the Shooting Times it's coming out in January 2011.

Has anybody seen the burn rates or what the loads they're listing are on the packaging?

I shot a team match with someone who tried to use the 308 superperformance ammo. It was super ugly.

I can't wait to see what the Superformance powder can do. I hope it actually gives higher velocity like Reloader 17 and the 500 series of Vihtavuori gives. I tried Reloader 17 in a .270 Win and while it increased muzzle velocity by about 150 fps, it wasn't nearly as accurate as H4831sc, so I went back. I should get an elk tag next year and plan to use one of these high velocity powders with 150 grain Nosler Partions out of my .270 Win. Not an ideal caliber, but I'm confident within 300 yards I won't have any problems putting one down.

Jack O'Connor used it to take Elk, and that would be good enough for me.
It's better than the stories I hear of the .243 being used on Elk.

I want to try this powder out as well. The old -06 could use a little power boost.

It makes me wonder if it'll be a good replacement for Reloder 17 as I'm about to give up on that powder - I just can't get ES/SD down and I've tried everything I know. I can get single digit ES out of 6.5 Grendel and .223 quite easily but can't get my 6.5 CM to get it no matter what with R17. Velocity means nothing if you can't get it accurate and consistent. I'm going back to H4350 until I can try one of these new powders out or somebody comes up with a solution to R17's poor ES/SD issues. Maybe it's something I haven't heard of yet or it takes some sort of Buddhist blessing ritual or witch craft to get it to perform.
