Hodgdon 322 for 6.5 grendel

got a 6.5 Grendel single shot pistol coming and want to try some 322 in it. will probably be using either the 129's or 140's in it. I think it will work. any opinions? allen

I've never used H322 for the Grendel and my rifle has a 23 inch barrel.

That said I think H322 might be too fast, especially for the heavier bullets. Maybe it will work with the shorter barrel. I've had some success running berger 130 hybrids with cfe223. That combination got me to 2500 fps.

My goto powder for 123gr bullets is Ar Comp.

What length barrel? I'd think h322 would do ok with 107s, but the heavies might take a light charge.

it will be in a 10.5" barrel. allen

23.5 of H322 works great with a 140 out of 14.5" XP-100
