Hobo Oil saves the day!

Took a new shooter to his first match a few weeks ago. It was a 6x1K match over two days.
I always just dry patch my bore after the 1st day and recommended that he do the same. So, out comes his new Tipton 1 piece cleaning rod and he proceeds to shove a patch thru the bore. I didn't notice until it was to late that the patch was to big. Well, about half way down the bore, it starts getting really tight and before I can stop him, he reverses direction. Yup, you guessed it. Now the patch and rod are jammed mid point in the barrel. After a whole lot of physical exertion and a fair amount of colorful language I had a thought. Out comes my bottle of Hobo Oil and I put some down the bore. After about 15 min. I sit on the floor, put my foot on the butt stock and give a big heave ho on the rod. Out comes rod, patch and all!
Thanks Hobo Oil!!

I put some on my old 1967 336 marlin and it can be ran with one finger now. Admittedly it did only take 2 before but it feels like ball bearings now

My Pro-Shot rod handle gummed up on me and wouldn’t turn any more. Tonight I screwed the handle on a old short section cleaning rod, chucked rod in drill. Applied Hobo Oil with needle Oiler, and spun the heck out of it. Got it free and spinning good again.

Ahh yes you will never forget that first (and hopefully only) time you reverse that rod when the patch gets stuck

Would love to get some of this oil

I put mine in a solvent bottle that I bought from Brunos. Has a long "snout" and can put one drop anywhere. Also a 2 ounce size.
