Hit a small jackpot!!!

I stopped by a place I knew of to see what they had reloading wise... the old store sold, new owners... started talking to em.. they just wanted to get rid of stuff. Half price on all powder... and it was still marked pre obama...


I got like $1200 im powder for $350... $15 to $20 a pound... vihtavori, bullseye, unique, h110, pistol powder, reloader powders.... I bought a box full!!!!

I hit a jackpot years ago, also. Went in an old country store that carried guns. He had the Remington XPR-100 (single shot .22-250 with a 4 round magazine-factory original) that had lots of dust on it. Asked him what the problem was. He said nobody in the area shot handguns. He didn't know me(100%) handgun shooter).
Asked him if he wanted to get rid of it. He said if I'd take if off his hands he'd let it go for $300. About swallowed my ton. It was worth more than that then and even much more now. That gun has taken almost 2000 groundhogs & over a dozen deer.
Sort of felt sorry for the guy....for about 5 seconds. What a deal!

It dont happen often... I think its the first time I ever got blessed like that... im not the come across deals kind of guy...

They had lots of vihtavori like 320, 330, 340, 350... I couldnt figure out what thats used for... I know rifles are 120, 130, 140...
