Highpower Rifle in Central Virginia

Cavalier Rifle and Pistol Club in Montpelier, VA kicked off our 2023 Highpower Rifle season on Saturday the 28th January. We shoot a monthly 800 aggregate on 200-yard reduced course targets. We are now using Shotmarker electronic targets. This was our first match using the Shotmarker targets, and feedback from shooters was very good. The flow of the match was quicker and much more smooth than a walk-and-paste match, and shooters who'd never used the Shotmarkers before loved the visibility.

High score was shot by Trevor H, who shot 793-45X. High Service Rifle was shot by John S, with a 752-11X. Congratulations! Great shooting!

Cavalier is hosting monthly highpower rifle matches, the fourth Saturday each month except July, August and December. We are able to host a maximum of 30 shooters, pre-registration is strongly encouraged, email the match director at cavalierhighpower@gmail.com.

The web site (cavrpc.org) will be updated very soon to reflect the new information. Email the match director with any questions.

My kind of match! Firing line is even covered!
But - over 7 hour drive:(

PS. From google, looks like a very nice range and facilities.
