Here's one for everyone to comment on

I don't know what's worse, the camo or the price.

The wife likes it!

That's the MSR of a Blaser, one of the F-Class shooters at Peru has one, 2 extra barrels, bolts, scopes and came in a fitted case, cost his wife like $5,500.

"This" is the original San Francisco Camo.
All the rest are "wannabes". ;D
And anything is "for sale" if the price is right. ;)

First I thought it would make a nice conversation piece,,,, THEN, I saw the price tag!
Yikes!! Who would do that? And, WHY??? :o

Bottom line is someone will see it and think "I've got to have it". Doesn't matter what the price is, they'll sell all their other rigs to get it. ::) (and then after a while they'll sell that one and go after another)

German: You know you "really" want it. Just buy it and don't tell anyone else. You secret's safe with us. ;D

German surely has some replacement left handed stocks he could slap on the rifle BEFORE he takes it to the Phoenix range. Shouldn't take very long to inlet and bed the action. :)

I could save the pink stock for when I visit my daughter in the Bay Area, might be less conspicuous than an Eliseo Tubegun. ;D

I've never saw a Blaser on the line that did anything but make people wonder "What the heck is that thing"?

They keep making them so some one must like them....

I spoke to a Blaser rep at the World Open last year. It seems the US sales for these rifles are poor to say the least. However, go across the pond, and they sell like crazy!

I handled one, and I must say the bolt design is intriguing. The first thing I though about is how fast the bolt can be cycled without disturbing the POA. Simply pull it back and push it forward; no pulling up or pushing down. I though it may be a good idea for a long range BR gun, where you try to rip off 10 shots in 20 seconds without having to adjust POA for each shot. (I have no desire to try it... just gave it a thought)

The pink stock = no!
The price = no way in hell!

Just curios, I have had a lot of different things but never saw one in person or anything. Just have seen them on gun broker. Can anyone explain to me what and why are they so exspensive. I have seen those things listed for big bucks and is it worth taking a second morgage out on your house. ( last sentance is not intended to offend anyone who has one )

I personally wouldn't have one because I can't get past the looks. They are a very high quality switch barrel rifle.
