Here's an easy challenge to try.

Here's an easy challenge to try, not hard to make and is at a distance most of the paper guys shoot at. Was shot not using a flat nosed bullet such as RWS, that does raise the success rate a good bit. This was at 62 yards, now it's set at 50 yards for a special stage at my matches.

The orange above the axe blade is to help shooters find the middle and something for peep sight competitors center up on. Takes a pretty fine reticle to be able to shift slightly on the filed edge. When it splits or is a really close filed edge hit there is a loud "smack" sound. Edge needs to be out far enough to let the bullet fragments hit the spotter plates.

That's just plain cool Topstrap. We 'paper guys' often shoot flies, staples holding the target, etc....at 50yd. I would really like to try this! Nice post. :)

Used to shoot NRA smallbore prone quite a bit. 1 of my fellow shooters used to leave his pen for scoring targets stuck in the top of his target board. . . Couldn't help it!

Of course, I carried an extra pen down when we went to score the next target.
