Help with Seb Neo

I purchased a used Neo. It came with accessories, like a counterweight for heavy guns. When I installed it, it hits the from leveling screw. Is it the wrong one or am I doing something wrong?

If I'm understanding that upgrade to the neo the weight means that the springs have been removed. So with a heavier gun the weight comes out further. that will hold the rifle up.
If the springs haven't been removed then the weight coming out would negate them so they didn't make the rest so hard to move around.

Mine has no springs you can tap the rod and it will go slowly all the way to the other side when empty.

My weight is two clicks out from yours holding a 13 1/2 lb rifle and a 10 lb rifle perfectly.

My “short” screw is longer than the one in the arm but shorter than the regular one. Pretty sure I got it from Ernie.

Now I may be mistaken but shouldn't that base be turned around so that the single leg is facing the shooter. That is the way I see them at SR matches anyway (including mine), joystick over single short bolt.

Most br guys have to deal with the bench length. Allot of Fclass guys turn it out. The leg bolts on from either side.

Ditch the weight
He can ditch the weight but he would need to order the springs, the Ratigan model is different vs the standard due to the springs. Flipping the leg to be toward him with a smaller screw is the answer (if he keeps the same screw he will have trouble with the joystick).
