I have an AR, 11" barrel, 1-9 twist. Using my standby BLC-2 did not work so well as I had powder residue all over me and the rifle. I purchased QL and easily determined the problem. I am only burning 75-79% of the powder due to barrel length.
I have narrowed my selection to quicker burning powders to 4, in the amounts of best powder burned % is - Viht N120, Reloader 7, H4227, and IMR 4227.
Does anyone have experience with these powders - I am leaning toward N120.
Can anyone identify the type of powder = ball, stick, or flake?
