Help with detachable rings

Hello, I have a Rem 700SA that I have set up as a switch barrel.
I did not pin the lug and will remove the action from the stock to switch barrels.

I want to remove the scope each time I switch barrels. I was thinking of a 20 moa Farrel base and leupold QRW rings.

I read on another thread that the QRW rings, weaver style) will set slightly offset on the picatiny base?
Has anyone tried this combo or have a suggestion for a quick release style ring with a sloped base?

Thanks in advance

I've got 20MOA picatinny rail on my F-class rifle and routinely switch scopes with exact return to zero using Warne quick detachable rings. On a switch barrel you will probably have to have a scope for each barrel or you'll have to re-zero for each barrel change. I've been overly impressed with the ability for quality rings to return to zero on a picatinny rail. Kelby would be excellent.

Mark:

I use QRW rings and Picatinny rails on all my rifles. Never had a lick of problems, and they return exactly to POI after removal. I have Nightforce 12x42-56 NXS scopes on two rifles using those rings, and the handle the weight no problem. I like being able to remove the scope when I clean, or do any maintenance on the rifle.
