Help with corect 6PPC Redding dies

I bought a rifle chambered in 6PPC with a .262 neck for 200 yard competition and was going to use Lapua 220 Russian brass to make my own cases. I thought that I had all the correct tooling to do this but I'm unsure now since my friend said not to get the 6MM PPC USA Redding dies that I already purchased from Sinclair. I have the tooling to turn the necks and I have Redding #55319 seating die and 91319 full length die. I intend to get a Redding full length type S bushing die, but noticed that there is a small base die available as well. This stuff is driving me CRAZY and I need all the help that I can get.
Could someone please explain what the difference is between the Redding 6 PPC and 6MM PPC dies to me? I know that there's a difference between the length of Norma 6BR brass and Remington 6BR with the Norma being .020 longer, but I need an education on the 6 PPC cartridges. I searched this site for info on how to make 6 PPC brass, but I couldn't find any. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right spot.

Thanks in advance

Send a couple fired cases to Jim Carstensen (JLC Precision) and get a proper fitted sizing die made. There are so many variations of 6PPC chambers out there it's hard to get what would be called "standard" chambering anymore unless it's marked 6 PPC USA on the barrel. I use his dies and couldn't be more pleased I use a .256 bushing (YMMV).

I agree with CJ6. There are many many different reamer designs out there.

If there is anyway don't buy anything else. Have someone help you resize and fire a few cases three times and send them to Harrells precision

They keep several different dies in stock and can match your fired cases to a die they have on the shelf for $75. This will get you up and going and is a good route.
Later on when you re barrel and decide if you are staying in the game buy your own reamer and have a die made for it

My suggestion is to send fired cases to Harrell Precision to get one of their in-stock dies to match up. I would definitely use a Wilson in-line seater. Sell those one-size fits all PPC dies on the classifieds here. You'll need an arbor press and seater die shims for that Wilson seater. You'll still need bushings, I prefer Wilson and I would get .256 thru .258 sizes.

++ on the Harrell's Precision, inexpensive and the right fit. Hard combination to beat.
