HELP with 6.5-284 Winchester chamber

I just had a rifle chambered for 6.5-284 the smith just told me he chambered it for the 6.5-284 Winchester NOT the 6.5-284 Norma. My question is can I use the 6.5-284 Norma brass and Wilson seating die with this chamber? Also with my full length seating die? Any input will be appreciated.

You should be able to. My reamer was bought before Norma, and Lapua enters the chambers I cut just fine. I use a separate throater to make 'um LA cartridges instead of SA. From what I can see, the difference between the 6.5x284 Win. and the 6.5x284 Norma is in the throating. I just use a Redding FL sizing die set without any problems. I bump the shoulder just enough for ease of chambering the reloads.

I second shortbrass. As far as i can see with the reamers i have seen the only difference is the throating. Norma is throated long for long actions and the Winchester version short for Sort actions.
