Help with 204 Ruger brass prep needed!

I'm not new to this caliber but I am new to taking it fairly seriously and would like to do a little more work to my brass. One problem that I ran into was that I had to buy a new cutter head for my Redding trimmer just to cut the .204 case mouth. The other problem that I'm running into is that my primer flash hole de-burring tool won't fit through the case mouth. Does anybody recommend a specific tool for de-burring 204 and 17 cal flash holes? I'd like to get one that will do both. Any help sure is greatly appreciated!

Zac M.

Zac,
I use a sinclair deburring tool on my 204 brass...take the 22 cal neck bushing and turn it around and set the depth for the flash hole...the diameter of the shaft on a sinclair tool fits nice in the 204 neck...I have used it that way for a few years with great results. Also you need to anneal your cases after 3 firings or they will start to split.

I found this K&M to be the easiest to use.I removed the wirenut and chuck it in a cordless drill in my bench vice,so that it is shoulder level.I operate the trigger with my left thumb and feed the case on with my right.Only takes a couple minutes to go through 100 cases.Since I don't trim my cases for the first firing, this whorks well because it bottoms out on the case web.No adjustments.

Hi Zac, I make a nice flash hole debur tool,
check it out http://www.21stcenturyshooting.com/FlashHole_Deburring_Tool.php
Thanks, John

FWIW I found the easiest thing to get serious about brass prep in the 204R was just buy Nosler brass ;D
Besides using an 11degree chamfer on em the work is already done.
Very consistent neck wall thicknesses.
Everything else hit the scrap bin.
I used to use the Sinclaire tool.
