Help selecting 338 class round for build

looking to build a 338 type rifle, should I go with a 338 Lapua or a 330 Dakota as a base for the rifle, ehat lasts a long time 1000 plus rounds and will give accurate performance?
leaning to 338 lapua since I have 200 new brass and dies already
Any suggestions appreciated.

Go with the 338 laupa and never look back. You just can't beat that 338 laupa brass, its tough as nails. You also can get the speed you need out of the 250grain and 300 grain vlds without pushing it to hard. just my 2 cents
