HELP - Removing paint from a scope

Wolfdawg

Gold $$ Contributor
I have a NF Benchrest 12-42 that was painted with a camo flat paint that I would like to remove.

Is there any safe solvent or method to do this or should I just paint over it?

Thanks
Wolfdawg

I used acetone to get the camo paint job off a Leupold.
Didn't seem to have any ill effects.
I'd keep it off the lenses, though.
Good luck,
Al.
