HELP plz 22-243ai

i just got my 22-243 ai done im using 223wssm dies to neck size and seat with when im necking down from .243 to -.223 then load i have no problems after I fireform and then run fireformed brass thru same dies ive got vert little tention on bullet ( pull in and out with my fingers) what am i missing ive loaded quite a bit and a few diff wildcats

Sounds like the WSSM dies are set up for the thicker brass of the WSSM cartridges. Neck diameter to big in the dies and brass does not get sized down enough to hit the expanded ball. Hope this helps.

You need a .243AI bushing die with the correct bushing for your neck tension.

Either a .243AI seating die with a .22 cal. stem or use the reamer to cut a Wilson die blank for your seating duties.

Use the right tool for the job.

I neck down Lapua .243Win brass with a Redding Type S .243AI bushing & .251" Ti bushing. And the .243AI seater works fine...

Things are only as complicated as you make them
