Help needed on Superformance 270 loads

Hi gentlemen

I can't seem to find any data about this powder and 270 Win wherever I look...Has any of you got any detailed info on this Superformance thing with 270 win or 260 Rem? I'll be very pleased with any serious feed back. Thanks in advance.

This information may be hard to get. Legal problems. I have asked Hodgon for the same data Their answer( are you ready) they said use a different powder . If you can,t them to help, we are on our own.... Great people at Hodgon. LOL !!!

The burn rate on SF is 1 notch below (126) H4831 & H4831SC (125) on the burn rate chart. You could probably start a bit below the H data and work up. I tried it in my .260. It was ok, but did not spend much time fooling with it.

Hi EOD,Big Mc and Jon

Thanks for answering guys, even though, just like me you don't seem to have much data about this pretty mysterious powder....I can't quite understand Hodgdon attitude about it,which complicate the dossier a bit more...I'll just follow the usual routine of trying it out and see what happens.I knew(read it somewhere...) that its burn rate is somehow between 4831 Sc and RL 22 but I was after some first hand documented info, especially from such a serious and committed assembly.Well, anyway, thanks to all of you who have or will eventually answer this question.Take care, and good shooting.
