Help identifying Tikka T-3

Pics? Sounds like you have a plain T3, but what’s the barrel look like. They make it a “lite” by using a skinny barrel.

If it is an original T3, then it has the same barrel contour as the T3X Lite. They made the Lite and Superlight designations when they came out with the T3X. Lite is non-fluted, Superlight is fluted. Ultimately, they all have the same contour.
The T3X Roughtechs and Veils have a heavier contour called the D18. Those are the ones that are threaded 5/8-24.

Also, the T3 and T3X actions are all "long" action. The only difference between the ones chambered for long action cartridges and short action cartridges is the bolt stop and the magazines.

Thanks. Looking at a stock on ebay for $50.00 that's stamped T-3 on the grip. Also found a trigger guard assembly. Previous owner did a spray paint camo job on the stock and it never set and is still tacky. It's too nice a rifle to look that ugly. Thanks for the info, James
