Help identifying rifle

I also have this posted in the rimfire section if it is against the rules i will remove one. The rifle is a 22 long rifle. It has bo serial number, stamps or makers marks of any kind. Was told might be a Scheutzen but not sure since no marks are visible. I have taken the rifle apart looking for any identification and there is none. Thanks for any help.

Very Respectfully

That looks like a low-wall Winchester that has a custom "Classic" varminter stock. Could be an old military trainer that somebody installed a newer barrel on. Since they did the stock I could see the investment for a new barrel also. dedogs

The only rifle I've ever seen with a lever of that design was a Stevens. But the forestock isn't quite right for the Stevens. Still, I don't see a Winchester there. Looks like it's set up for a Unertl scope.

Receiver is longer than a Low Wall. I believe it is a Stevens as well. The ASSRA forum would be a good place to sent a pic for opinions.

I believe that is a Winchester Low Wall. I have both a Low Wall and a Stevens 44 1/2. Only the Winchester has the breech block like the rifle shown in your other thread. Nice rifle!
Also a 44 1/2 would be case hardened not blued.

The lever stock forearm barrel and all are modified. The block links and screws look winchester to me. Find a picture of a stevens open and a winchester open you will see what I see. At least I hope i see it right

I researched Winchester 85 Schuetzen 22 and it came up with quite a bit but nothing solid. I still do not have access to that site Ill check back in the morning I cannot thank yall enough if more pictures are needed of any part of that rifle please please ask

Notice the hammer disappears when the breech block is lowered. That is because the hammer is mounted to the breech block.

The Stevens hammer is mounted in the receiver.

I looked up the Winchester Models but couldn't find on with a stock similar to mine. My barrel is 25 inches long I should have included that

+1, That is a "Classic Varminter Stock" (very old school). I think what you probably have is an old "Winder Musket" Low Wall Winchester. They were .22 training rifles used waaay before I was born...and I'm getting old. dedogs

Ya, this is like a Sedgley...and when we say it is a "1903 Springfield and you look up a 1903 and it looks nothing like a "sedgley" you don't beleive us" . Your gun is a highly smithed Winchester
