Help identifying maker.

A lady friend bought this gun a couple weeks ago and I thought it was a very unique piece. As I was looking it over I noticed I didn't see a manufacturer name on it. I took the grips off and no name or mark there either. I was wondering if anyone would know anything about the gun. It's a semi auto but to load a round has to be put into the barrel and closed then it reloads from the clip. I haven't found a was to move the slide back it chamber the first round yet. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a couple identifying marks, once 1st shot of Bulliet is chambered the rest are automatic.
