Help identifying AP bullet pls

Couple years ago I bought (what was advertised) on CMP forum 20 rounds of 30-06 Black Tip ammo. Well today got to looking at it closer and It is not 30-06 ammo. Of course I could be wrong but I sure don't think so and I defiantly wouldn't shoot it in my Garand. Can someone pls help me identify what this is ? To start with the headstamp has FN 56 and a bullet is 3.152 in. Sorry bout all the pictures I can get picture happy LOL. I have googled the headstamp and I can tell it's Belgium ? But can't figure out caliber.

Now that you've pulled a bullet you can also measure the diameter.

Would a magnet check help too? I think black tip is a hardened steel penetrator back then; however as others have mentioned, it measures like 8mm Mauser. I believe the black tip might mean something other than AP for German ammo, maybe tracer?

Tracer would have phosphorus in the bullet base. Don't see that in the pic of the bullet base.
