I recently posted a wanted to buy listing for a rifle chamberd in 7mm08 for a friend of mine son for deer season anyway a gentleman contacted me stateing he has a SHILEN rifle for sale chamberd in 7mm08 I said can you please send me pictures so he did the action is marked SHILEN BP-S did shilen produce such an action I thought only the DGA any information would be great thanks Adam

If they is also a serial # on that action. Call Shilen and see what they say and can tell you about it.

Does not the BP-S precede the DGA?

Made in same time period I believe. Mostly made for Silouette (Sp) pistoles, although I have one made into a 17 REM. rifle. Your serial # has me confused as it was my understanding they only made 130 or so actions. Dave Otterson had an writeup in Rifle magazine on their history.
