As alluded to, it was made by STAR in Spain. Good but not the greatest quality. Should be a decent inexpensive carry piece.

Having owned a Star many years ago, I wouldn't bet my life on anything made by Star.

I completely agree with PatMiles. I own a Star 9mm, got it from my father, shot 50 rounds threw it and had 40+ stove pipes. My father traded a nazi Luger for it when he was in the army in WW2. It is my safe queen and would never sell it. I ain't perfect either.
