Help ID a Winchester mod 70

Yes, the Palma Match rifles started as ultra match versions, fitted with Redfield sights, were bedded from the factory and supplied to competitors (with ammo) and competitors had the option to buy the rifles after, if declined they were returned to Winchester and sold. I believe they supplied 3 different years, late sixties to mid 70's maybe?
So is my rifle a 30-06 ultra match or a Palma (thought all Palma’s were 308)
Also how do I use the screw to adjust the trigger?
Also is the stripper clip notch on top of the receiver topical for Sutch a late rifle.

The G prefix showed up in 1968. Your serial looks like it came along in 1971. The International Army Rifle and the International Match rifle were .308 only. The earlier National Match guns are -30 GOVT. 06 Interesting rifle and in great condition!

I thought the 06 or 308 version was called the"Marksmen". They were set up for NRA XTC including the rapid fire which was ten shots with a reload (5-5 or 2-8) the later was for the M1 or M1A. This was NRA High Power in the 80's.

Cody Wyoming, that museum there, is where all the Winchester records are kept. I called them about mine, nice people.
