Help choosing a new build

I have a Rem 700 Short action laying around collecting dust and trying to decide on cartridge.
I already have a 6 PPC and 6-284.
Both of those shoot the lighter 62- 80 gr bullets.
I am looking to build something for the heavier 105-115 bullet range
Gun will be used for 600- 1000 yard target and maybe some hunting.
I am an experienced reloader so wildcats don't scare me.

Options I can think of are:

6 x 47
6XC
6 BR
6 Dasher

What is the intended use? Groundhogs, Prairie dogs, 600 Yard BR, or 1000 yard BR? Matt

Mostly 600 yard Will play around at 1000

I'd say 6BR if mostly for 600, either 6x47 or 6XC (latter's my favorite) for an even mix, 6 Dasher for mostly 1,000.

Tough choice as they're all superb cartridges. I've seen shooters do very well with 6BR @ 1,000 yards but not when the wind's blowing much.

If you are planning on 600 yd. BR you probably should do a Dasher. It pretty much dominates there. Matt

The 6BR 8 tw would cover what you want. But the 6 Dasher work better for 1000 yds. I have 6BR's and 6 BRX for both ranges.
