Help! Burris Rings and Base for R700 6mm

Forgive me for not doing more research on this, combing the threads and such. I want to take advantage of 4th July sales and get my rings and base so I can finish up my 6mm BR.

I really like the Burris Signature rings. But I'm not sure if you folks recommend the one piece tactical style base or go with a two-piece traditional dovetail rings. Anyhow, here is my setup so if you funnel some advice my way that would be a huge help. The gun will be for Pdogs and speedgoats here in Colorado.

Kreiger Heavy Varmint Barrel
Sightron Siii 8-32x56mm
Richard's prone stock
Jewel Trigger

Anybody have this setup? What ring height did you use?

I can't imagine that high rings aren't high enough. 2 pc bases will work fine. The next choice is extra high and normally limited to AR's.

Thanks Larry . . . did you recommend sticking with the two-piece Burris base? Or should I even look at another brand for the base?

I use medium Signature rings with a 40mm objective scope (Leupold BR-D) and a 1.25" straight barrel (0.90" at muzzle) - not much room under the objective, maybe 2 mm's (see picture) - go to the high rings.

(P.S... I use two piece Weaver style cross slot bases - steel ones from Leupold or Warne...)

My normal is the Weaver style rings & bases & about any base will work fine. For the dovetail bases, I'd probably match the rings with Burris.
