Help a newbe spend his christmas money

I've recently bought the RCBS Turret Press Deluxe Reloading Kit. After a few times reloading I've found that some things would make life much easier. Such as an electric scale or a hand priming tool. Rather then trying to figure out what all I need/want to make my reloading more effective I'd tap into the wealth of knowledge here. I mainly load for a Model 70 Coyote in 243 and mostly shoot paper at 300 yards, if that makes any difference.

The K&M priming tool is a good one. Based on my experience, I wouldn't be in a big hurry to switch from a balance scale to an electronic one for powder.

I would echo the previous response regarding the scale. How many rounds are you loading in,say 1 month. The amount loaded would make a difference in my recommendation.

Right now I only do fifty or so a month, and that is typically in one night. I have a bunch of winchester brass from before I reloaded and once I find a load my gun likes I'll probably sit down and load a bunch of it and more frequently.

Make sure you spend some of your money on a supply of Lapua brass. As far as hand priming tools are concerned, I've used Sinclair's unit for quite a few years with no regrets. There may be others out there that are as good for a few buck's less.

I would suggest some simple brass preparation aids like the RCBS brass preparation station. You can deburr, clean and uniform primmer pockets, chamfer and deburr case mouths and clean case necks with this tool.

As far as priming tools I have used Lee, RCBS, and Hornady with good results. The RCBS and Hornady last longer.

You are going to eventually need to trim your brass, so something along that line would be a help.
